Beacon from DARWIN

Every day I can hear the sound from the transmitter beacons, which are emitted from DARWIN AUSTRALIA.
Beacon is working on 10m band with frequency 28.2680mhz.
By using a rotary dipole antenna, at approximately 03:00 UTC until 13:00 UTC, I still can hear well.
Is this a sign band will open ahead of cqww 10m cw contest 2010.
A few days ago I can contact with the station from Russia and I only use the 40m band dipole antenna that I press with SWR tuner, in order to work on the 10m band.
This is just information for the radio amateur friends especially for the DXer and Contester.
